Crysis 2 Question

Ordered it from amazon for 29.99 Very impressed so far.

But anyways my question is that, is there anyway to turn the voice chat down or off when playing multiplayer? Idk if its just me or not but for some reason this game is LOUD >.<

I had to turn in the in game volume down alot when I started playing it but then when I tried the multiplayer I usually never use a mic, the in game chat freaking blares lol, which is really annoying if there's some idiot constantly yelling into the mic about something.

 

With most games if at all I can barely even hear in game chat through my TV but its literally louder than the actual gameplay in this game haha.

No offence but you cannot have team work with your mic off or at least the ability to hear your team-mates I laugh every time I watch someone walk straight to their death because they couldnt hear my warning. It's even more frustrating trying to win a game when everybody is off in their own little private Idaho when they should have my back instead. It it bothers you that much though, just start your own party chat and you wont hear anybody.

I hate talking to people. Guess im just unsocial? Unless they are a friend, or at least not a complete stranger.

But anyways I rarely ever use a mic on any game that I play and I can pretty much pull my own weight and come out positive without having to rely on other people. I hate how some people think that it should be a requirement to have a mic plugged in to play online.
