cant buy xbox live gold

Okay when i try to buy gold membership it is succesfull but when i check on my account theres gold membership it is just silver and on my credit card list it have taken money for nothing. help?

There may be a network problem , with your internet or your Xbox 360 actually verifying that you actually purchased it .

Since it keeps taking money off of your credit card I recommend you buying an Xbox live card from your retail  that sells them just to be safe and prevent it from taking even more money off.

* If any other problems result please don't hesitate to ask for help.  

It doesn't hurt to back up your data.

First do not bump threads that are almost a year old.  Second you cannot buy live subscriptions with currency on your account only with a per pay live card or another form of payment credit card or PayPal sorry.

I am having a MAJOR issue, anyone who can help would be great. I DO NOT own a credit card, nor do I want one. I have $21.00 on my LIVE account, I want to get a 1 month gold to hold me till the new month, however for whatever reason it won't allow me. It keeps saying I need a credit card. So, how can I use my money in my account to buy my month of GOLD? Anyone?

If you would read the post right above yours you would see that you cannot purchase gold using your Microsoft account.
