BTB All Stars!

In case you haven't logged on to Reach today, a new message arose today at the title screen. The message has also been posted on Bungie.net by Jeremiah, the man in charge of playlists. It reads as follows:

The BTB ALL STARS playlist will be available for a limited time starting on 6/24/2011. This playlist will feature Triple Jackpots and players who compete in this playlist will be rewarded with a Star nameplate in-game.

To qualify for entry into the BTB ALL STARS playlist, you must play at least 5 games in the INVASION playlist between 6/13/2011 and 6/20/2011.[/quote]

He also states that playing 5 games in Invasion will automatically qualify you to play in the BTB All Stars playlist and get yourself a Star nameplate. This playlist will also offer a TRIPLE JACKPOT as a reward, just for an added bonus.

Fluffers: I was just hoping it remain exclusive to 10% of the community. But this? This is ridiculous! They're practically GIVING it away to 90% of the community.

So this nameplate was an exclusive thing and now you're upset that it's going to be less exclusive?

That his "friends" nameplates aren't going to be as exclusive anymore because a lot of people are going to have the chance to unlock the nameplate now. Not "good" enough = not among the 7 best submissions out of thousands every single week. Being "good" is hardly the case, some people are more artistic than others. This is probably the last batch of stars we'll see, and not everyone is going to get one still. There will be hundreds of thousands of people who completely disregard the message, and even more who won't even see it.

Oh hey, waste 50 minutes to play 5 invasion games over the course of 2 weeks and you can play just one game to get a star!
