backward compatibility

If it's not on this list - en.wikipedia.org/.../List_of_Xbox_games_compatible_with_Xbox_360 - it won't work. The stopped adding backwards compatible games in 2007 and ended all support for original games last year.

What a shame, I was hoping to play it just before Human Revolution releases.

What the guys at Xbox should be doing is getting on this backwards compatibility issue.  The only reason they don't is the same reason the PS3 stopped making systems that could play original PSX games.  So they can make you pay to download it even if you already have it.  Or to make you buy the old system in order to play the game if it's not available for download.  I wanna play Painkiller: Hell War but I can't.  I'm so angry.  WE PAID FOR YOUR PRODUCT!!  NOW LET US USE IT!!  I DON'T REMEMBER SIGNING ANYTHING SAYING IT'S OK TO TAKE AWAY THE ABILITY TO PLAY MY OLD GAMES!!  I had to download Final Fantasy IX on the PS3 because mine was too scratched up.  That is the ONLY PSX game I have been willing to buy thus far.  Thank God I still have the original PS3.

If you can write a software emulator that plays all games from the old system flawlessly without any problems on the new hardware then I strongly advise you to write said emulator and then hawk it to the highest bidder.

If it's not on the list then you'll be able to use the game XBOX is not updating that anymore, sorry.
