Account Balance stuck in older region after migrating, how do I spend it?

You will have to wait till you migrate back to uk to spend it

currency doesnt transfer between regions probably because of exchange rates

What ngocphi was trying to say is that due to various international laws and commerce concerns Microsoft has chosen to lock all currency to the specific region it was acquired in.  If you ever go to Ireland on an extended 3 month holiday or choose move back there you can migrate your account back to Ireland and the Euro's will still be there waiting for you.
