Xbox Live Account & Windows Live account

I have different emails for my Xbox live and Windows live account. Is there a way i can merge them or somethign so that my Xbox Live and Windows live connected to the same email and account?

Both accounts are Windows Live Id's you can't merge the 2 accounts but what you can do is change the Windows Live ID by following the steps below if you are not happy with the Live Id your Xbox Live account is on now.
