When i got my Xbox, i didn't have live, now i do, but all my data such achievements and saved games are on a profile not on Xbox live. How do i transfer the data from my profile not on live to my other profile that is on live? P.S. The 2 profiles have different gamertags, plus i don't want to go through the process of registering the profile not on live, or cancelling a account and using my profile not on live, i just want to transfer the data.

transferring data from an non-xbox live profile to a xbox live profile

I dont think you can just transfer the data, you have to bring the gamertag you were using offline, and register it on live. Its what i had to do with mine.

As the guys have said you don't move the save and achievements, you'll have to register the offline profile on Live if you want to see them here on the site.
That is quite easy. Just sign-in to the offline profile, press the Guide Button and select Join Xbox Live. Then just follow the on-screen prompts.
You'll need another email address to be the Windows Live ID for your account.
