Transfer saved game file from old to new xbox 360 with usb stick

Forza is one of those tricky games where the save file used to be locked to the original console and memory unit..so a lot of folks have had issues when they tried to move their file to a new console with a usb drive.

There is a high chance that your save file might now be considered as "tampered with"

Do this for me, move the file back to your original console and see if it still works.
If it's marked as tempered, you will get a prompt to start a new file. If your file still works, you should be able to move it to the cloud.

Hi Son Ala!! Iwe tried that to first of all i tried save the saved game file to rhe cloud it says the same i have a picture of the screen wen i get the message but i dont knpw how to put up the picture. I moved back the saved files to the old one and there i can play it but i am gonna sell the old xbox today the 25th .. This just sucks this is one bad thing for xbox i am the owner of this files i should be able to do what i want whit it. Now i can only forget about my 28mil and all cars vinyl groups decals and xp and start over and that is something i really dont want to do.  I am very disapointed on microsoft.

Ah man, I am so sorry to hear it.  Unfortunately, once a save files goes, there's not going to be any automated way to restore it.  You could also try something like uploading it the Cloud, but it's sounding like you'll need to re-play the game.

I didn't sell my old xbox i do have all my saved files on a usb stick and i can play forza 4 and still have all my cars and money.

But i would like to transfer all that to my new slim star wars edition xbox. But how do i do that.

Ok, there is one last thing that would give all of your cars...but reset your progress. I've done this on Forza 3 when I got a new console.

It will take a while but you can sell all your cars in the auction house for a ridiculously high price, upload all of your designs to the store front but keep them private.
With all of your credits, place a ton of bids in the auction house and let them become outbid.

When you create your new save file on the new console, you will have zero progress, no cars and money. Go to the auction house, cancel all of your cars that are for sale and they will now be placed in your garage.

Go to your bids that have been outbid by others and collect your credits.

As far as the decals go, I think you can redownload them from your storefront...but you could just paste them on your cars before you auction it and then when you reclaim your car you can just save the vinyl group again. this only works with the designs you created yourself.

If there are designs you bought from others, you can just add their storefront to your favorites list and buy them again.
