Selling my xbox to a buddy.... question about items I bought...

So my buddy wants to buy my 120gb fat console.... I said sure and he agreed to give me $200 for it with some call of duty games.

I have like 30 arcade games on their that I purchased..

When I delete my profile, the arcade games are still there and playable on another profile (full version, not trial)...

So If I give him my console as is, will he become the owner of those games when he makes a new profile for xbox live?

How does it work basically...

 

The games will always belong to your gamertag (even though they are on the other system).  If you choose to get a new xbox, you will be able to redownload those games under your own gamertag to the new system.

You can download your purchased games and play them on ANY xbox as long as YOU are signed into xbox live on that system; however, if you're off line, you will NOT be able to play them, but your buddy WILL on his xbox unless you transfer the licenses to the new system. You'll have to log into xbox.com com and go to this page: www.xbox.com/drm, it will take you through the process of transferring all your licenses to your NEW xbox so you and anyone else using your new xbox will be able to play those games on your new system whether you're online or not. Hope this helps you out and do it as soon as you get the new system, I had to figure it out the hard way when my internet went down for a week.
