Orange Broadband

All has anybody got any more news with regards to this stupid stupid [Removed] up by orange i.e cant connect to partys etc, really [Removed] me off now!

Hi mate well when you ring them they do not know very unhelpful when you email them i do seem to get an answer. This has been too long now and its not excuse im just really frustrated.

Hi, I'm afraid I don't have an answer for you but you are not alone, others have the same issue:- www.avforums.com/.../1462697-cant-join-party-game-orange-broadband.html I would certainly contact your ISP as I think its something for them to sort out assuming you have an Open NAT when you run the Xbox live test

@Shad0wmanUK as i said mate contacting  my ISP will not help as i have in the past they are no help!

  • Do you have an Open NAT then? Does it report any NAT issues when you run the live test, also what router do you have?
  • When did this start happening?
  • Do you have a friend with an Xbox who uses a different ISP? Can you take your Xbox over to his and see if you can play ok, if you can does his Xbox show the same problem if he uses his Xbox on your network?

 

I appreciate your ISP may not help but if its down to them (please answer the above questions) they have to fix it or you change ISP

@Shad0wmanUK I always have an open NAT, When running the xbox live test i dont see any issue's

I have a netgear DG843G.

This issue started on the end of may.

Myself and my friend have do use the same ISP. (Orange Broadband)

Apparantly orange updated the LLU and this is why its causing orange to orange users alot of problems to connect to games, partys etc.

I can connect to any other friend on xbox live who isnt on the same ISP as me. (Orange Broadband)

This may also help you understand the problems many orange users are encountering.

Well for me its simple, its an Orange ISP issue. They either fix it, or you move to another ISP its really as simple as that, the issue is within their network, you nor me or anyone at Micrsoft can resolve this for them, only Orange by fixing the issue themselves or yourself by moving to another ISP

@Shad0wmanUK I have the right to change ISP due to the fact i am not receving the service i am paying for. I have just signed up to a 18 month contract. if this issue does not sort itself out soon then i will be ringing the office of fair trading. it's been over a month now they have had long enough to fix this issue. This is just not good enough
