I have never had any issues with connecting online and my xbox is about 2 and a half years old. This problem just started today and I'm having issues resolving it. I've tried all of the troubleshooting suggestions and I've gone through the Network Help online. Nothing has worked so far. It will sometimes connect right when I turn the Xbox on but when I go into a game I get disconnected and I get this error when I go through the network test. Much of the time it won't even sign me on when I turn on the Xbox. I've tried accessing my Modem's interface but I don't know what kind of settings, if any, would effect this. About 3 weeks ago I moved and started using a new modem. It has worked beautifully until just recently. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated. I miss my gaming.

Also I thought I should add that I connect through a wireless adapter. My only thought is that there could be an issue with that.

I having the same problem. Started on May 24th.  I have a Motorola Netopia 2210 Modem, and a Linksys router and At&T.  I live in Georgia. I had a flawless connection since I had my Xbox.  Now i'm having latency problems and frequent disconnects.  I've tried everything. My brother and cousin have also reported the same problems.  I beginning to lean toward the xbox live service.

Keyon, have you ever bridged your Netopia? Usually they are supplied in routing mode and when connecting to another router (your Linksys) you will have issues (doubt NAT'ing)

I guess no one really knows how to fix this problem. But I connected my xbox while sitting right next to the modem and it worked without a problem. I moved it back to where I normally use it and I got the exact same error. So my only thought of the issue being with the wireless adapter can not be it. I have no clue as to why this is happening.
