Looking for an RPG of EPIC Proportions!

Well at the moment I am playing through Zelda:The Orcarina of Time on my good Ole Gamecube. And enjoying every single minute of it.

Are there any decent RPG's on xbox that are worth a good playthrough?

& will most likely keep me playing hours on end like Zelda?

Mass Effect-Played it-Rated it-Hated it

Dragon age-Played it-rated it-One time play through and traded in.

Well... what are you looking for in an RPG? As OoT isn't one it's kind of hard to draw to much of a comparison to what you'd like out of the game.

Is Fallout 3 the same sort of style as Borderlands as in gameplay wise ?if so may not be my thing.

Well Fable 2 and Fallout 3 both have awful (main) story lines, as does Oblivion which would be one of my first thoughts otherwise.

If you're open to JRPGs than maybe something like Lost Odyseey or Tales of Vesparia?

EDIT: Or maybe New Vegas, that has a better story than F3 at least.

Not really, alot of people compare Fallout 3 to Borderlands purely down to the setting.

Well something thats not classed as a RPG but compared to stuff like Zelda is Darksiders (people say it's like zelda + god of war had a baby)

Well RPG wise everyone above has already stated them all. Both the JRPGS that Ilusion suggested are both great.

Blue Dragon is certainly a good game, it's a long time since I played it and my recollections are a little hazy on it. It's very childish (but good childish (or at least better childish)). Definately a different scale and scope to Mistwalkers other game (LO) but definately worth playing if you're into that kind of game.
