Headphones and HDMI ?

Ok ,for the life of me I cannot figure out how to use these nice Sony headphones for my 360/PS3 while using a HDMI connection to my TV.I am currently using a 37 inch Vizio television.Any help would be greatly appreciated and If anyone can help me with this I will let the person motorboat my wife's breasts.

Why didn't you just get a gaming headset like a turtlebeach or something?

When you already have a 100$-200$ headset, why get a 50$ one? I used to have one of those beastly studio style headphone sets. Epic sound quality.

 

Which model Vizio? It looks like they have a jack for a standard headphone plug. I looked up your 'phones and they seem to have the larger "Stereo" sized plug. There's a dinky little adapter that you can pick up from Radio Shack that will convert the big plug into a smaller standard plug for 8$...much better than dropping 50$ on a set of Turtles. (I love my X11's though.)

You will need to get an adapter like this.

The HDMI cable will run from the 360 to the TV, while the other adapter will run either the red and white or the optical output to the headset, depending on which cable you can use on the headset.
