All my digital games are unplayable unless I'm online

When I try to play a game I downloaded, while disconnected from the internet, I keep getting the "do you own this game or app" message. This happens on my own console, when I am signed in. Why is this happening, and how can I fix it?

Did you used to have another Xbox One, or at least used your profile on another one before this?

Either way, the reason appears to me to be that you have another console set as your Home. The default is the first one you logged into. The solution for this is:

Connect to Xbox Live. Go to Settings, then in the left-hand column select "My Home Xbox". Go through the steps to make this your Home Xbox. Your downloads should now work even offline.

Let us know how you get on.

If you got to your settings at the bottom on the left hand side you will see

"my home xbox" go in there and set your xbox to your home xbox

You can then play anything you have downloaded without being signed in

Great, that worked, thanks a lot people! The X1 I'm using now is the second one I've owned so that was probably it.
