Troubles connecting to Network

Have never had an issue connecting to the network in the past, plugged in cable this weekend and have no connections thru router or when plugged in straight to DSL line using PPoE connection.  Have tried all the trouble shooting with router and connecting thru PC's, and cannot get any notification from the Xbox that it is on the network, although the computer is able to see something is plugged into it.  Router also not seeing Xbox, using static IP and without, connection does light up on router when Xbox is turned on showing it's there, but no communication comes from Xboxs.

Both had connected in the 3 weeks, was on vacation for a week and haven't worked since we came back.

Hey mate, is there any additional info listed when you run that connection test, such as anything under 'More Info?'
