Windows Media Player encountered an unknown error.

while trying to upgrade the security for windows media player for Overdrive media consol so i can down load books from the local library i get the  message below . Thanks for any help.

2)       How are you trying to upgrade the security for windows media player?

3)       Which security are you referring to?
