WINDOWS 8 DRIVER FOR MFC-240C PRINTER

I am unable to locate windows 8 print driver for my MFC-240c printer.  Is this printer compatible with windows 8? I went to Brother download site but it did not have drivers. Thanks for your help.

The Windows 8 Compatibility Center offers a difference of opinion regarding full compatibility with the MFC-240c. There are two votes for compatible and one against. Full report here.

                  

The Brother Support site's MFC-240c page (here) reports that Windows 8 specific drivers for the MFC-240c are available from Windows 8 or Windows Update. There is also a white paper on Windows 8 driver support available here.
