Windows 8 BSOD NETIO.SYS

Just purchased and installed Windows 8 via USB. I did a clean install and deleted all partitions so i'm working clean. However, when I try to connect to the Internet via ethernet or wifi, I will receive a BSOD crash. Will happen every single time. However, Internet is working via safe mode without hiccup.

Error given is: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (NETIO.SYS)

Anyone?

Thanks,

Chris

I have been struggling with this error since windows seven. I upgraded to windows eight to try to clear up the problem and it worked for less than a week. After trying everything i could find on forums i noticed that lots of people were saying it had something to do with mcafee. I uninstalled mcafee entirely and downloaded avast. My computer has yet to have the problem again and i think this is the easiest fix.

That's what I exactly did with my Dell XPS17 laptop. (didn't throw the pc form my apartment which is 11th floor :) )

but went to Apple store yesterday and got one MacBook Pro retina display with i7, 16gb, 512GB version.

and loaded WIN7 on it. its working fine with superb speed, because I think Apple use better quality hardware than any other PC company. Apple rocks..... WIN 8 is a flop show with lots of bugs and error which has no solution even with their creator....
