Windows 7 Compatibility Center and Upgrade Advisor Disagree (Different compat. reports.)

While the Windows 7 Compatibility Center claims that the D-Link DWA-130 Wireless N Adapter IS compatible, the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor claims that action is recommended and that an updated driver should be installed. However, there is no updated driver released by D-Link, as confirmed by Windows' Device Manager.

This error was likely caused because of several hardware revisions available (I am using a C1, but an A, B, D, and E exist), and therefore, different drivers. It does not specify which version Microsoft tested and marked as compatible.

For this reason, I haven't upgraded to Windows 7. What do I do? Is there any way I can fix this? Or get additional information on which version Microsoft tested?

The D-Link web site currently does not list a Windows 7 driver for your C revision. This may be an issue if you upgrade. I would contact D-Link tech. support and find out if your make and model/revsion is supported in Windows 7.
