Windows 7 randomly changes my desktop's font size between Small (100%), Medium (125%) and Large (150%).
I've tried to create a custom font size (like 130%) to see if it would stick. Every time I restart or shut down my computer, the desktop font size changes again. Recently, my computer would freeze completely (pointer frozen, everything frozen) and the
CPU activity light on my laptop would show no activity whatsoever. Then the fan would kick on and not turn off. This might be related to an issue with Firefox, which I am trying to determine in a separate forum. But this freeze-up might be related to my
font size changing randomly, since I have to cold-restart my computer after each freeze-up.
The changing if the font size might happen if the user account you are using is corrupted. You may try creating a new user account
and check if that helps.
