We will soon release the drivers for the Microsoft devices to work on Windows 10 Operating System.

Refer to the Microsoft Help article below to install the drivers for the device and check if it helps.

Thank you for your reply, my device is LifeCam 3.5 and yes I can install the previous Drivers from your link (Windows 7) but my complaint is that even though the Cam works and you can start it up using the Microsoft LifeCam shortcut one has lost the taskbar ‘hidden icon’ that used to show in Windows 7 and 8 enabling one to adjust the Cam when using it in other Social programs. Now one has to open the LifeCam program adjust it then close that program and open the Socialising program that you are using the cam in as both will not work together. Perhaps if Microsoft eventually dedicate a Driver to Windows 10 this problem will be overcome. Why you lapsed with your own devices where as other manufacturers such as Logitech delivered their own Drivers for Windows 10 I do not know.

folks - 2017 feb and still no solution. Just noticed, after win 10 upgrade, that my LifeCamera doesn't work (oddly said that s/w was partially installed and needed system reboot).

Removed device and tried to apply current drives as suggested above and they won't install.

Any answers Microsoft?

It seems that Microsoft has other more important things to do like making even more billions and billions rather that sort something that one would have thought very simple considering their resources!

... obviously you and the rest of the world have a different opinion on the definition of " We will soon release the drivers for the Microsoft devices to work on Windows 10 Operating System." is there going to be a driver for this LifeCam 3.5 on windows 10 or should we add it to the growing pile of obsolete Microsoft crap that becomes larger with every new version release!?

Considering how cheap a new webcam is, and how much more capable and better quality today's webcams are, just get another webcam and move on.

Or are you wanting to make a point about today's throwaway society where nothing lasts anymore and we're harming the environment by throwing away perfectly good stuff, etc. You won't get any argument over that. Or maybe you want to rail about corrupt capitalism and corporate greed, etc. Yes, everyone agrees with you, but this forum is about Windows 10.
