This error may be caused by a driver incompatibility. The following steps have been confirmed successful by other community members.
- Remove existing SPTD drivers using guidance from DuplexSecure
- Install the newest SPTD drivers
- Reboot your PC
- Run Windows Update again
If removing and installing newer SPDT drivers does not resolve your 0x800F0923, there could be other drivers or software conflicts preventing your update. Please contact Microsoft Support so that we can further investigate your issue.
