Office 2007 Failure Installation in Windows 8 error 'language of this installation package is not supported by your system'

Recently I got a copy of Microsoft Office 2007 from my company to be installed in my new system,Windows 8,but when I tried to install it, it kept prompting the  "The language of this installation package is not supported by your system" error message.

Is there any workaround available for me to install this Microsoft Office 2007.

Thanks for posting in Microsoft Community. As I understand you are facing issue while installing Office 2007. Let me help you with the issue.

 

I have couple of questions for you:

Which edition of Office 2007 are you trying to install?

Are you trying to install Office 2007 from the disc or using the downloaded file?

 

You may run the fix it from the link below, restart the computer and then try to install Office 2007:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928218

 

If you trying to install Office 2007 from disc then try to copy all the files from the disc to hard drive location and then run the setup from the hard drive location.
