I am trying to figure out a way to insert a backwards K into my spreadsheet for our softball league. The backwards K is for a strikeout looking, and I have tried the word art thing and it looks stupid. The letter appears in the same cell as the name of the person as well as other K's or backwards K if they have them through the season. It is also linked to the total page so it adds up for each game. I can rotate the letter 90 deg or -90 deg but not 180. Can someone please help with this or create a symbol so I can add it to the cell without the trying to match up word art. Thanks.

Another option - Use Insert --> Symbol, and in the Symbols dialog, choose Ariel for the font and then choose IPA Extensions for the subset. Down just about 4 rows you'll see something that looks quite like an upside down (and backwards) lowercase K. Just to the right of a G with a squiggle at the top followed by a very square H and a kind of lowercase scripted j (has closed loop on bottom).
Same thing is also available in Times New Roman/IPA Extensions. I suspect it's hiding in that subset of several fonts.

Ahh, I just had an idea.... this is still a two character entry, but it does look something like a backwards K (actually, it looks better in Arial font than whatever font this message is displayed in).
Just type a "greater than symbol" followed immediately by a "pipe symbol"... >|
