Hi,
I have an ASUS T100TA transformer tablet with Windows 8.1 Update and all of the current critical and security updates installed.
The system has a 32 GB eMMC drive on the tablet and a 500 GB HDD drive on the keyboard. Windows 8.1 is installed on the eMMC, which has the following partitions: 100 MB EFI partition (hidden);, 20.2 GB OS partition (C: drive); 8 GB recovery partition (hidden). The OS is compressed, since Windows Disk Manager says the C: drive partition is used for WIM Boot. Currently my C: drive has about 11 GB free space.
I would like to know whether I can upgrade my system to Windows 10 Preview or not, since until today it didn't get the "reserve Windows 10" app.
Also, I would like to know about the partition architecture my system will have after installing Windows 10. I've read on Microsoft blog that Windows 10 will not need a recovery partition, since the Windows 10 itself runs compressed. After I upgrade my tablet to Windows 10, will I get a full 32 GB partition for the C: drive?
I'm really willing to install Windows 10 on my ASUS T100TA transformer tablet, since I already have Windows 10 Insider Preview installed on my desktop PC and I'm really enjoying it.
Best regards,
