Xbox Preview Program

Reference # = 1294595313  I received this in a chat to sum up the issue so I didn't have to repeat it over and over and give the next chat support representative a 7-10minute reading time explaining everything. Here's another explanation in case that is only for chat support.

Honest to God, this is the LAST CHANCE before I am done supporting Microsoft.  There is no reason for me to be disrespected or treated this way.  I am not trying to sound all high and mighty, but  when you have gone through what I have been going through this last two months, and have been Live Gaming for almost 10 years, I am not even going to get the money I have spent over the time period, with Microsoft, from the PC to the Consoles, its a joke to even receive this kind of treatment. I have never seen a support system so flawed in my life (and I mean the ones I have dealt with, not the entire support team). After all this nonsense which includes over 20 phone calls last month and into this month, three or four chats online, I have finally be informed where the forums are, why not over the phone, I couldn't tell you the reason why or even why I was disconnected (or hung up on is the logical term, it was not due my side losing service) so many I have lost count, its as if they didn't want to deal with it, even being told, talking to their manager won't help asking if I could speak with them instead. Only once was I transferred, to said higher up management, even then they couldn't help.

I have been invited to the preview program, I have registered my console thanks to a "Jep" over chat, who also indicated I was already a preview member, I just have never registered my console. If that's the case it would of been nice to know, I could of have this app since the beginning, which he then helped me out, giving me the link to registering my console, it is now registered.  I was also informed by this person to wait 1-2 days and I should receive both an email and a Xbox Live message for the app.  It has been over 48 hours, and I have had to contact chat support twice today.  I have been told what it says when someone who has the preview app invites you. Please do not give me a run around saying I need to tell my friend, who I received the invitation from, to check their email and confirm it a second time, that is a not true, which came from a chat support "Natasha", very willing to help, even gave me a free avatar item for the nonsense I have been going through and patience in why I have not yet received, it was nice of that person to give me the freebie, yet the issue being fixed would have been better.  I wouldn't think she tried to give me a run around, as many have done before. Also, it does not say check your email and confirm it when you invite someone using the app, again only we will contact them soon.  It has been over two weeks since the first invite, and even two others that they invited, during the same time I was, got there preview apps, within 3 days. I gave it some time as you can see, tried contacting over the chat system, (due to horrible phone support, in which I WILL NEVER CALL/USE AGAIN (phone support was not directed for the preview app, due to a wrongful suspension, in the occurrence of which still no one could give me a way to contact the enforcement team, only http://enforcement.xbox.com/, that did not do anything a month ago, although for some reason no one over the phone, no one would believe me, as I have mentioned to all who informed me of this website, of what it contains, and someone should either fix it or find out why they are all told to send gamers there. I see now today it has changed, though it is not needed now.  Back then, 1-2 months ago, it did nothing but say we are the support team this is what we do and so on, even notice back when they updated it, allowing members to sign up, which I could not do as well, meaning it wouldn't allow even if that page said you could, not due to unfulfilling requirements, (though now due to a wrongful suspension I might even be able to sign up, since one requirement is a good reputation, if said suspension ruined the reputation). No one on the phone understood this and couldn't help with my wrongful suspension.  I was targeted with hate mail/spam messages, called a cheater and so on, he even had others do such a thing, even post things on my activity feed which I then deleted their comments.  I am sure you can see the message(s) in your system, its off my message now, due to after being unsuspended it some reason reset my messages and even deleted my passkey on my console. (I notice lots a bugs through your console and I have always been more than happy to help.  I also notice many more bugs to this day though they still are not fixed. I'm not saying I know every bug or expect things to be fixed, I give the time for an update to see if they are patched, and some are still yet to be seen). I even recorded a video of the said person, which I never played against this person before, the one sending the hate mail/spam, then later found in a match, quitting early, as well as snapshots of my progress before climbing the leaderboards (still there to this day), and I was suspended for cheating, one of your terms under the cheating report system is wrongful reports, in which I did report the said player, and its not as if we are informed if it was ever taken care of, none of the terms under cheating did I violate).  After so many calls, the last phone support call I made, I found someone willing to look into my account and stated my account was unsuspended within a week of the suspension and my console was not suspended or banned, and finally after all those attempts of trying to get unsuspended, if you could tell the frustration, I waited, then later getting a email from the one who looked into my account saying, there is some console ban though it didn't show up when he was looking into and gave me the set day for the suspension to be released.) I am not here about the suspension it is over and done with, there is nothing to do about it now.  I only mentioned to show, if you can not see already with the reference number, about the statement, I have never seen a support system so flawed in my life (and I mean the ones I have dealt with, not the entire support team), as stated in the first paragraph.  I would just like to put this all behind and continue to enjoy Microsoft gaming, and my next step is getting this preview app, to help support the Xbox community, with beta tests that will come, from games and Home Screen updates to whatever else may be included, provide feedback, as well as receive the benefits such as early access to some Xbox Backwards compatibility. If there is anyone in this support team, that is willing to help, I mean, couldn't it be as simple as sending the message yourselves?, as you can see it for some reason It is having troubles sending the message or my account receiving, as others and yourself can see I have been invited, and I have registered my console. It will be real nice of you to help me, I again, would like to continue to stay and support LIVE GAMING, yet if something doesn't change here, I will not hesitate to drop everything to do with Microsoft, even to my PC, not just the consoles.  I am not stating that as a leverage, its the truth, please do not feel I am saying this to get priority support, you have well more then enough gamers in your system besides myself. I am sure if not whoever fixes the situation, but anyone who reads this would understand the frustration I have been through. Thank you, I look forward to hearing a reply. - G2

I see there is still no reply, I have noticed HEAD SHOT DOGGY's post right before mine, found here, and it seems I am going through the same situation.  I also got Group Not Found on the link the ambassador has provided. Anybody that would respond that would be great, I would know someone would have got this information to another to fix the problem. Thank you.

Xbox Forums Time Stamps on posts are off. Looks like its been 4 hours, its been a day. Only reason I mentioned is other post's after me are getting acknowledgement.

Hi there, it may take more than a day before your thread is read by someone who can help. Only support staff are able to look through deep problems like this and offer resolutions, and they have a backlog of problems to look over too.

I'll try and describe why things are going wrong so far. As far as I've heard, the actual support staff over the phone do not have much to do with the preview program. The preview program is mainly handled by support staff which operate on the Xbox Support forums.

When you say that someone over phone support registered your console (and sent the invite?), it confuses me since I wasn't sure they could. When you are invited through a regular Xbox user as intended, your console is automatically registered within a couple of days. Since this has been done manually, this could have caused problems.

If you are upset by the preview program, there's no need to get angry at every single Microsoft product.

Overall, I would recommend that you now wait for Xbox Support to view your thread, and then potentially manually grant you access to the "Xbox One Preview Support Forums". These forums are where the people who can help you with the preview program are. If you post there, they can assist you with preview program problems you may be facing.

I hope this helps at least a little bit with the confusion, and essentially there's some confusion about phone support staff handling preview applications.

P.S - Please don't post reference numbers on the forums.
