Xbox Live Gold Trial

 I am trying to get the Xbox Live Gold trial and it won't let me get it. My brother bought Xbox Live on the same console but I am using a different account. It won't let me get the trial and it says this:

Can't retrieve information from Xbox Live.

Please Try again later.

Hello,

The XBOX Live Gold Trial will only work if you enter in valid billing information and a credit card. It will display this status code "80070057" if no billing/payment information is available or is not valid.

You will need to enter that information in and then proceed to make a new account to receive the trial.

I put in all the right information so it should work then right? Oh well I will just use my brothers account...

You need to enter in valid payment information as well, not just a billing address. It needs to have a working and valid credit/debit card on file for the gold trial to go through.

may i suggest buying xbox live through the xbox its fast and the first month is cheap normally
