Was deceived by dashboard promo

I went to download the trail version of the sour patch game via dashboard promo and it charged me 400 msp for the full version. I didnt want the game, I just wanted to enter the contest to win 800 msp. Can I get any help with this?

Hey Carmona25! I'm sorry if you had trouble with this promotion! You should have had a separate pop up to confirm the purchase. Did you not receive this prompt? I do see you're an Ambassador so I'm guessing you are aware of this and did not, but just want to make sure before we move forward! :)

Yeah. It didnt prompt. I clicked on the register button and it ask to download the trail version. Then I saw I was 400 MSP short. Thanks for the help.

I'm not asking for a refund. I never intended to buy that game. Microsoft stole that money from me by tricking me into buying the game. I have NO desire to play this game. I was told to post here to see if you could do anything else for me...not tell me the same thing phone support told me. I've never had to download a trial version of a game to enter a sweepstakes...so why do that now? This is unacceptable. WHO can I talk to that can really help me????

I also expressed my disapproval of your lack of help in a survey I received from Microsoft. If I dont hear from someone that can help me by tomorrow, I will be calling again.

Hey there Carmona! I'm sorry that you are frustrated with the circumstances. I'd like to make sure that everything is working properly. Can you confirm that you did get the trial. Can you check under your Download History in the Account menu and see if it says trial or full game. Could you provide a screenshot for me? Let me know what you find out, thanks!

I did get a full verison of the game. My issue is:

#1 I never intened to buy the game, I only wanted to enter the contest to win 800 MSP

#2 I was never "warned" that I was being charged 400 MSP. It said I was DL the trial version.

Honestly I know its only 400 MSP, but I just can't accept the poor service I got from phone suupport. 400 MSp isn't worth my time Im spending on this issue. My problem is how its being handled. I was tricked into giving up 400 MSP and Microsoft seems to think im trying to steal 400 MSP. This is all princlpe now.

I was told how too. I left feedback in the survey sent to me by Microsoft. Im not understanding how me leaving feedback on xbox.com, will help me get my points back. It's hard to believe that Microsoft wont make this right.
