Specializations gone?!

I pre-ordered and purchased the legendary edition of Halo4, as well as the console, and I had the code for the 6 specializations. The code entered fine, and when i started up the game and had a look around, I saw the extras in the spartan hub, (cool awesome!), but as I level up through the SR levels, I find they are still there, but once i reached SR level 48, and had another look at the different types, all of the extras were gone, the Wetwork and Operator were still there, but the rest all gone.

Thinking that it may have been a small error, i continued to level up and hit level 50, and the choice came up to choose a specialization, and again, only Wetwork and Operator.

I tried re-downloading the content to see if it would fix it, but to no avail, as well as clearing my cache on the HDD I am using, and then re-downloading again, but still, only Wetwork and Operator.

It seems strange that they would be there at the start, then be gone at a later date, just seems strange.

Is there anything that can fix this issue, so I can at least select one of the 6 after I complete the 10 levels of Wetwork, or would I have to unlock everything as a player without the codes would have to? (Which seems a little lame, as i paid for a limited edition game, and a Limited Edition console, and to not get the extras on top of them working, seems pretty bad on Microsoft's/343's end, just saying.)

Thank you for your time :)

As a realization, the fact that they aren't showing up could be due to the recent update, as i hit level 48 at about that time.

Hey Umbra! During the process where you removed the content and cleared your cache, did you also by any chance delete the download for your Disc 2? If not I would definitely try doing that all at once! First delete the Specialization download, then delete the Disc 2 download, then clear your cache. After that, redownload the specs and put in disc 2 and download it again. See if that helps, and let us know!

I read online that the extra specialisations were only available if you pre-ordered, have the “Limited Edition” or “Infinity Actual” packs.

The same article said that for those without the above, the extra specializations would be available until the end of November (launch month) after which they will be removed until the New Year.

The removal of these specialisations coincided with the update and seems to have removed them for some users with the content packs (my friend included) - If you have either the limited edition or infinity actual packs try deleting and re-downloading the content as this seems to fix the issue

Move your Halo 4 savegame to a storage device other than your hard drive (USB Flash Drive, Cloud Storage, etc.) so that it doesn't get deleted in the following steps.

2.       From the Xbox Dashboard, go to Settings > >System > Storage >

3.       Remove all Halo 4 content from your Xbox storage device

4.       Clear your system cache by going to System > Storage.  Highlight "Hard Drive" and click "Y", then Clear System Cache

5.       Restart your Xbox and re-download all Halo 4 content again by going to Settings > Account > Download History

6.       Launch Halo 4.
