raptr promotion problems

I am having a problem with the raptr promotion. Been trying this since yesterday, everytime I click the link and sign in on xbox.com it says the following-
Promotion Not Available, this promotion is currently not available please try again later. Posted on the raptr forum and was told to contact xbox about the issue. Can somebody explain why this is happening?

I'm assuming you're refering to this raptr promotion raptr.com/.../xbox-live-free-gold-subscription. This promotion only works if you currently have an Xbox silver account, if you're currently a gold member the promotion code won't work.

I am a silver member currently. And the promotion has not expired. So calling someone is going to solve this issue?

hey Juliya this promo is only available to 1) silver members 2) residents of US, and i know that raptr itself are having issues with sending out codes for the promo so if you are in the US i wud send them a email and see if they can push things forward.

Problem some people get (Cannot access this gamer ID, check privacy settings on xbox.com)

While you get this problem, go to your *my account* then *Privacy and Online Settings*

EVERYONE Profile Sharing, Game History, Online status

After you receive the rewards just unclick *profile sharing, game history, online status* if your worried about people stalking you.
