problem with xboxlive promotion

i renewed my xboxlive gold membership through the offer get 600 points free for renew and i never got the points just wondering if anyone knows why :(

Did you read the second stickied thread in this forum section? (Click me)

 

It will explain that there is a waiting period of 6-8 weeks after the promo' finishes. The points should be deposited straight into your account during this time frame and you can check this by view your billing information at, www.billing.microsoft.com.

 

If the points are not deposited into your account then you will have to contact the xbox support line. :)

The link from the stickied thread doesn't work. What is the URL for the forum to post to if your points haven't been deposited?

Mostly because Xbox Live Rewards are a joke. I've yet to have the 100 points I've earned over the last 6 months deposited into my Live account. It's been nearly a month since I finally reached those 100 points.

I know there's a waiting period, but it didn't take them any time at all to email me with a statement telling me I'd earned those points. LOL!

Same happened to me. I bought the 3 month 50% + free 800 points and i still havnt received them.

waiting on points from a subscription offer:  6-8 weeks after the promotion ends the points will be added to your account.

If you are well past that time a call to support for investigation would be warranted.

Points from Xbox Live Rewards are an entirely seperate deal and the only support for that program is from their website as Xbox Tech Support would have no information for you besides to refer you to the Live Rewards website.

Racer: This is about a LIVE purchasing promotion, not Xbox Rewards. Whole separate thing.

I got this same problem but I had to pay for 12months and get a free game its been 11weeks they told me it would take 8-10

I have a similar situation. I purchased the 3 months, get 3 months and 2 arcade games free promotion, and I was told to wait 6-8 weeks to get the codes for the games. Well, I got the codes on April 29. I clicked on the links it gave in the email and was given an error message. I have been dealing with Xbox Support for over a week, and was told today that I was out of luck. I was informed that I should have redeemed the codes by April 28. I pointed out the fact that I didn't get the email with the codes until April 29, and was basically told to bad. Anyone have any idea if there is something that I can do?

I would suggest you call the xbox support line back and request to speak to a supervisor to get your problem escalated. If you are able to clarify with them when the email was sent to you they should surely be able to provide you with either a refund or a fresh set of codes.

I asked to speak to a supervisor today...the guy said that he was. He refused to let me speak to anyone else. I hung up on him and tried again and was basically told the same thing..just this guy was a little nicer
