Not received Microsoft Points for renewing Gold membership during a promotion

Details: I purchased (through the dashboard) 12+1 months of Gold subscription during a promotion which said that as a bonus for doing this I would also get 800 microsoft points. Ive emailed 2 times and have gotten the "wait 6-8 weeks until the end of the promotion" answer both times. Its been more than half a year since I purchased the subscription.

Date: 12+1 months of Gold subscription purchased on January 27th, 2012


Items : I have not received 800 microsoft points.

Yes, Ive checked multiple times over the past months, just to be sure. Still nothing. I can find emails regarding all of the other transactions I made except for the one concerning the points from the promotion.

Hey there SUMO SAMO! Can you confirm that you've checked all emails linked to your Gamertag for said MSP? This includes your WLID and preferred contact (live.xbox.com/.../ContactPreferences) along with all spam, junk and trash folders. Let us know! :)

I checked, I purchased a couple thousand points since then, and I also got 800 points for joining the rewards program, but I never received what I was supposed to get from the promotion.

The points may have been added directly to your account and you didn't notice.  Sign in at billing.microsoft.com to see if they were added anytime after the date of purchase.
