Missing Xbox live points after 6 month's promotional subscription

Hi there.

I re-subscribed to XBL on the 31st May for 6 month's service and free XB Live points.  As of yet I've received nothing and am worried there's been a problem.  

Can you please confirm when or how these will be received as it's been 4 months now which seems a while.

You should get the promotional item within 6-8 weeks from the purchase of the promotion, most likely by e-mail as a pre paid code. If you have not received it within this timeframe you need to contact phone or chat support
