800 Points with Gold Renewal Promotion - points not received


Promotion Details: Xbox Live Gold 12 Months + Bonus Month + 800 Points
Date of Purchase: 2nd February 2012 through Dashboard offer
Promo Item(s): 800 points not received

I have spoken to support online twice and they told me the points would be in my account over a week ago, but still nothing.

Hey there Tez! I understand you are missing some promo points here. Unfortunately it seems you were misinformed about the delivery method though, and I apologize for that. These points are generally sent as a code in an email. Please check both your WLID and contact email (live.xbox.com/.../ContactPreferences) inboxes, including all spam, trash, and junk folders. I have always used the same Hotmail address since joining Xbox live. I have checked in my contact preferences and it has not changed. I also checked the junk folder in Hotmail and only junk in there. I also double checked my inbox and nothing there sorry. I don't normally have any problem receiving Xbox emails.
