Login Information

  • Gateway – 192.168.0.1
  • Username – admin
  • Password – admin

 

DHCP Reservation

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. If prompted to login enter “admin” as the username and “admin” for password.
  4. Select DHCP Server from the menu on the left.
  5. Select DHCP List&Binding from the sub menu.
  6. Enter the desired last digit in the IP Address box.
  7. Enter the Xbox’s MAC Address.
  8. Select the Add button.
  9. Click the Apply button at the bottom.

 

DMZ

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. If prompted to login enter “admin” as the username and “admin” for password.
  4. Select Virtual Server from the menu on the left.
  5. Select DMZ Settings from the sub menu.
  6. Enter the Xbox’s IP Address into the box labeled DMZ host IP.
  7. Put a check in the Enable box.
  8. Select Apply at the bottom of the page.

Disable DMZ

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. If prompted to login enter “admin” as the username and “admin” for password.
  4. Select Virtual Server from the menu on the left.
  5. Select DMZ Settings from the sub menu.
  6. Uncheck the Enable box.
  7. Click the Apply button at the bottom of the page.

 

Port Forwarding

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. If prompted to login enter “admin” as the username and “admin” for password.
  4. Select Virtual Server from the menu on the left.
  5. Select Port Range Forwarding from the sub menu.
  6. In the Start and End Port enter 3074.
  7. For the To IP Address enter the Xbox’s IP Address.
  8. For the Protocol drop down select Both.
  9. Check the Enable box.
  10. Click the Apply button.

Disable Port Forwarding

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. If prompted to login enter “admin” as the username and “admin” for password.
  4. Select Virtual Server from the menu on the left.
  5. Select Port Range Forwarding from the sub menu.
  6. Find the port you want to remove then uncheck the Enable box
  7. Check the Delete box.
  8. Click the Apply button.

 

UPnP

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. If prompted to login enter “admin” as the username and “admin” for password.
  4. Select Virtual Server from the menu on the left.
  5. Select UPnP Settings from the sub menu.
  6. Check or uncheck the Enable UPnP button.
  7. Select Apply.

 

Firewall

*There are no firewall settings that need to be configured.*

 

Restoring Factory Defaults

Through Hardware

  1. Locate the Reset button.
  2. Using the tip of a ballpoint pen or toothpick press and hold the reset button for 15 seconds.
  3. Release the reset button.
  4. Wait for the device to restart.

Through Firmware

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. If prompted to login enter “admin” as the username and “admin” for password.
  4. Select System Tools from the menu on the left.
  5. Select Restore to Factory from the submenu on the left.
  6. Click the Restore button.
  7. Select Yes to confirm.
  8. Wait for the router to reboot.

 

How to Find Firmware Version

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. If prompted to login enter “admin” as the username and “admin” for password.
  4. Select Network Status from the menu on the left.
  5. The firmware is on this page labeled Firmware Version.

Firmware Update

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Go to the Tenda support page and fine the newest version of firmware for your router.
  3. Download it and save it to the desktop.
  4. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  5. If prompted to login enter “admin” as the username and “admin” for password.
  6. Select System Tools from the menu on the left.
  7. Select Upgrade from the submenu on the left.
  8. Click the Browse button and select the file you just downloaded.
  9. Select the Upgrade button.
  10. Do not unplug or turn off the router until finished.
  11. Wait for the router to reboot.  

 

How to Find Wireless Passphrase

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. If prompted to login enter “admin” as the username and “admin” for password.
  4. Select WLAN Settings from the menu on the left.
  5. Select Security Settings from the submenu on the left.
  6. The passphrase is on this page labeled either “WEP Key 1-4” or “Passphrase”

How to Change Wireless Security

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. If prompted to login enter “admin” as the username and “admin” for password.
  4. Select WLAN Settings from the menu on the left.
  5. Select Security Settings from the submenu on the left.
  6. Select desired Security Mode in the drop down menu. (To turn off the security, select None, Open or Disabled.)
  7. Select Apply. 

 

Change Wireless Channel

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. If prompted to login enter “admin” as the username and “admin” for password.
  4. Select WLAN Settings from the menu on the left.
  5. Select Basic Settings from the submenu on the left.
  6. Make sure the Enable Wireless box is checked.
  7. Select desired channel in the Channel drop down menu. (1,3,9,11)
  8. Select Apply.

 

Change Wireless Mode

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. If prompted to login enter “admin” as the username and “admin” for password.
  4. Select WLAN Settings from the menu on the left.
  5. Select Basic Settings from the submenu on the left.
  6. Make sure the Enable Wireless box is checked.
  7. Select “11g mode” in the Network Mode drop down menu.
  8. Select Apply.

 

Change Wireless Band (Width)



  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter "admin" for the user name and "admin" for the password.
  4. Select "WLAN Settings" from the menu on the left.
  5. Select "Basic Settings" from the sub menu.
  6. Select the radio button "20" for the "Channel BandWidth" option.
  7. Select Apply.



How to Find SSID (Network Name)

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. If prompted to login enter “admin” as the username and “admin” for password.
  4. Select WLAN Settings from the menu on the left.
  5. Select Basic Settings from the submenu on the left.
  6. Make sure the Enable Wireless box is checked.
  7. The SSID is on this page labeled Main SSID.

 

MAC Filtering

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. If prompted to login enter “admin” as the username and “admin” for password.
  4. Select Security Settings from the menu on the left.
  5. Select MAC Filter from the sub menu.
  6. Select Disable for the Filtering Mode.
  7. Select Apply at the bottom of the page.

 

Entering PPPoE

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. If prompted to login enter “admin” as the username and “admin” for password.
  4. Select Setup Wizard from the menu on the left.
  5. Click the next button.
  6. Select the ADSL Virtual Dial-up (Via PPPoE) radio button.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Enter in the Account and Password.
  9. Select Next.
  10. Select the Apply button.

Multiple Console Support

We have confirmed that this network device is unable to support more than one console with an Open NAT. 

 

Known Issues

UPnP may be disabled by defaults.

 

WPA and WPA2 security modes may be incompatible with the Xbox consoles.
