How to Find SSID (Network Name) 

  1. Plug the computer into a LAN port via an ethernet cable.
  2. Open a web browser.
  3. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.2.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  4. When prompted, enter in “admin” for the user name and “admin” for the password.
  5. From the top menu select Wireless
  6. Your SSID will be listed as Network name.

 

How To Find Wireless Passphrase (WPA/WEP)

  1. Plug the computer into a LAN port via an ethernet cable.
  2. Open a web browser.
  3. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.2.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  4. When prompted, enter in “admin” for the user name and “admin” for the password.
  5. From the top menu select Security.
  6. Your wireless password will be listed as pass phrase in the wireless section.

 

Changing Wireless Security Type/ Disabling Wireless Security

  1. Plug the computer into a LAN port via an ethernet cable.
  2. Open a web browser.
  3. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.2.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  4. When prompted, enter in “admin” for the user name and “admin” for the password.
  5. From the top menu select Security.
  6. From the drop down marked Method select your desired security.

 

 MAC Filtering

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.2.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter in “admin” for the user name and “admin” for the password.
  4. From the top menu select  Security.
  5. Under the MAC Filter select Allow Current Clients
  6. Click Save.

 

Change Wireless Channel

  1. Plug the computer into a LAN port via an ethernet cable.
  2. Open a web browser.
  3. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.2.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  4. When prompted, enter in “admin” for the user name and “admin” for the password.
  5. Under the section marked Transmission find the line marked Channel.
  6. From the drop-down menu select the desired channel. (Channels 1,3,9,11)
  7. Select Save.

 

 

Change Wireless Mode

  1. Plug the computer into a LAN port via an ethernet cable.
  2. Open a web browser.
  3. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.2.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  4. When prompted, enter in “admin” for the user name and “admin” for the password.
  5. Under the section marked Transmission find the line marked 54g
  6. From the drop-down menu select the desired mode of 802.11g Performance.
  7. Click Save.

 

 

Change Wireless Band (Width)



This router only supports the 20MHz band.

DMZ

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.2.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter in “admin” for the user name and “admin” for the password.
  4. From the top menu select  Firewall.
  5. Enter the IP address of your xbox into the DMZ line
  6. Select Save.

 

 Disable DMZ

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.2.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter in “admin” for the user name and “admin” for the password.
  4. From the top menu select  Firewall.
  5. Delete the Xbox's IP address and select save.

 

Port Forwarding

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.2.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter in “admin” for the user name and “admin” for the password.
  4. From the top menu select  Firewall.
  5. From the Protocol drop down select TCP
  6. In the WAN port range put 3074 in both available fields
  7. In the LAN IP address put the ip address of the xbox
  8. In the LAN port range put 3074 in both available fields
  9. Click Add
  10. Repeat this process but for step 6 select UDP for the protocol.
  11. Select save at the bottom of the page.

     

Disable Port Forwarding

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.2.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter in “admin” for the user name and “admin” for the password.
  4. From the top menu select  Firewall.
  5. To the right of your entries select the Delete button to remove any unwanted port forwarding rules.
  6. Select save at the bottom of the page.

 

Firewall

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.2.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter in “admin” for the user name and “admin” for the password.
  4. From the top menu select  Firewall.
  5. Uncheck Enable Firewall.
  6. Select save.

Firmware Update

  1. Plug the computer into a LAN port via an ethernet cable.
  2. Open a web browser.
  3. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.2.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  4. When prompted, enter in “admin” for the user name and “admin” for the password.
  5. From the top menu select  Device.
  6. In the Upgrade Router section select Check for Update
  7. Follow the on-screen instructions to download the new firmware file and save it to your computer.
  8. Click Browse to locate and select the firmware file you just downloaded.
  9. After you have selected the correct file click Upgrade to send the software to the router. This loads the new software in the router and causes the router to restart.  Note: Do not try to go online, turn off the router, shutdown the computer or do anything else to the router until the router finishes restarting! Wait a few more seconds before doing anything.

Restore Factory Defaults

Through Web Interface

  1. Plug the computer into a LAN port via an ethernet cable.
  2. Open a web browser.
  3. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.2.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  4. When prompted, enter in “admin” for the user name and “admin” for the password.
  5. From the top menu select  Device.
  6. In the section marked Factory Settings select Reload.

Through Hardware

  1. Plug the computer into a LAN port via an ethernet cable.
  2. Using a paperclip or tip of ballpoint pen press and hold the reset button located on the bottom of the device for 15 seconds or until all the ethernet link lights flash in unison.

 

Entering PPPoE

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.2.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter in “admin” for the user name and “admin” for the password.
  4. From the top menu select  Internet.
  5. Under Internet Login (PPPoE) enter in the user name and password of your internet.
  6. Select Save.

 

Known Issues

There are no known issues for this device.

 

Multiple Console Support

We have confirmed that this network device is unable to support more than one console with an Open NAT.
