 How to Find SSID (Network Name)

  1. Plug the computer into a LAN port via an ethernet cable.
  2. Open a web browser.
  3. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.123.254) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  4. When prompted, enter in “admin” for the user name and by default the password should be blank.
  5. From the top menu select Wireless.
  6. From the sub menu select Basic.
  7. Your network name will be listed next to SSID.


How To Find Wireless Passphrase (WPA/WEP)

  1. Plug the computer into a LAN port via an ethernet cable.
  2. Open a web browser.
  3. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.123.254) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  4. When prompted, enter in “admin” for the user name and by default the password should be blank.
  5. From the top menu select Wireless.
  6. From the sub menu select Security.
  7. Your passphrase will be listed as Key or Passphrase.

 

Changing Wireless Security Type/ Disabling Wireless Security

  1. Plug the computer into a LAN port via an ethernet cable.
  2. Open a web browser.
  3. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.123.254) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  4. When prompted, enter in “admin” for the user name and by default the password should be blank.
  5. From the top menu select Wireless.
  6. From the sub menu select Security.
  7. Select the encryption type from the line marked authentication type
  8. Enter The passphrase you want into the Key or Passphrase line.
  9. Select apply.

 

MAC Filtering

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.123.254) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter in “admin” for the user name and by default the password should be blank.
  4. From the top menu select Access
  5. From the sub menu select MAC Filter
  6. Set the MAC Filter to Disable
  7. Select Apply.

 

Change Wireless Channel

  1. Plug the computer into a LAN port via an ethernet cable.
  2. Open a web browser.
  3. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.123.254) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  4. When prompted, enter in “admin” for the user name and by default the password should be blank.
  5. From the top menu select Wireless
  6. From the sub menu select Basic
  7. From the drop-down menu select the desired channel. (Channels 1,3,9,11)

 

Change Wireless Mode

    1. Plug the computer into a LAN port via an ethernet cable.
    2. Open a web browser.
    3. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.123.254) into the address bar of the internet browser.
    4. When prompted, enter in “admin” for the user name and by default the password should be blank.
    5. From the top menu select Wireless
    6. From the sub menu Select advanced
    7. On the line marked Dot11Mode select the G Only radio button.

Change Wireless Band (Width)

This router only supports the 20MHz band.

UPnP

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.123.254) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter in “admin” for the user name and by default the password should be blank.
  4. From the top menu select Management.
  5. Set UPNP Enable to Enable.
  6. Select Apply.

 

DMZ

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.123.254) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter in “admin” for the user name and by default the password should be blank.
  4. From the top menu select Access
  5. From the sub menu select DMZ
  6. Enter the IP address of your xbox into the DMZ Host IP
  7. Select Apply

 

Disable DMZ

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.123.254) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter in “admin” for the user name and by default the password should be blank.
  4. From the top menu select Access.
  5. From the sub menu select DMZ.
  6. Set the DMZ to Disable.
  7. Select Apply.

 

Port Forwarding

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.123.254) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter in “admin” for the user name and by default the password should be blank.
  4. From the top menu select Access
  5. From the sub menu select Virtual Server
  6. In the name box enter Xbox1
  7. In the private and public port boxes enter 3074
  8. In the LAN Server box enter the xboxs IP address
  9. Select Add
  10. Repeat from step 6 on however change the name to xbox2 and the protocol to UDP
  11. From the Protocol drop down select TCP

 

Disable Port Forwarding

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.123.254) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter in “admin” for the user name and by default the password should be blank.
  4. From the top menu select Access
  5. From the sub menu select Virtual Server
  6. Uncheck any unwanted port forwarding rules
  7. Select Update.

 

Firewall

This feature is not available

 

How to Find Firmware Version

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.123.254) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter in “admin” for the user name and by default the password should be blank.
  4. From the top menu select Tools.
  5. From the sub menu select Firmware.
  6. The current firmware is listed as Version.

 

Firmware Update

  1. Plug the computer into a LAN port via an ethernet cable.
  2. Open a web browser.
  3. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.123.254) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  4. When prompted, enter in “admin” for the user name and by default the password should be blank.
  5. From the top menu select Tools
  6. From the sub menu select Firmware.
  7. Go to http://www.usr.com to look for any firmware upgrades for your router.
  8. After downloading a firmware upgrade file, select Browse to locate the file.
  9. After you have selected the correct file click Upgrade to send the software to the router. This loads the new software in the router and causes the router to restart.  Note: Do not try to go online, turn off the router, shutdown the computer or do anything else to the router until the router finishes restarting! Wait a few more seconds before doing anything.



Restore Factory Defaults

  1. Plug the computer into a LAN port via an ethernet cable.
  2. Open a web browser.
  3. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.123.254) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  4. When prompted, enter in “admin” for the user name and by default the password should be blank.
  5. From the top menu select Tools.
  6. From the submenu select Settings.
  7. Select Restore under the heading Restore Factory Default Settings.

Through Hardware

  1. Plug the computer into a LAN port via an ethernet cable.
  2. Using a paperclip or tip of ballpoint pen press and hold the reset button located on the bottom of the device for 15 seconds or until all the ethernet link lights flash in unison.

 

Entering PPPoE

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.123.254) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter in “admin” for the user name and by default the password should be blank.
  4. From the top select Wizard
  5. Select the radio button for PPPoE
  6. Enter your user name and password.
  7. Select Next.
  8. Complete the Wizard as it asks for your timezone and a new router password
  9. Select Restart to finish.

 

Multiple Console Support

We have confirmed that this network device is unable to support more than one console with an Open NAT.
