How To Find SSID (Network Name)



  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter "admin" for the user name and leave the password blank.
  4. Select "Setup" from the menu at the top.
  5. Select "Wireless Settings" from the menu to the left.
  6. The wireless network name will be labeled as "Wireless Network Name".



How to Find Wireless Passphrase (WPA/WEP)



  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter "admin" for the user name and leave the password blank.
  4. Select "Setup" from the menu at the top.
  5. Select "Wireless Settings" from the menu to the left.
  6. The wireless passphrase will be labeled as "Pre-Shared Key".
  7. **Note: The default firmware will likely not show the passphrase characters and may need to be found by alternate means, or changed.



Changing Wireless Security Type/ Disabling Wireless Security



  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter "admin" for the user name and leave the password blank.
  4. Select "Setup" from the menu at the top.
  5. Select "Wireless Settings" from the menu to the left.
  6. Select the desired security type from the "Security Mode" drop down menu.(To disable the wireless security, select "None" from the "Security Mode" drop down menu.)
  7. Select Save Settings.



Change Wireless Channel 



  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter "admin" for the user name and leave the password blank.
  4. Select "Setup" from the menu at the top.
  5. Select "Wireless Settings" from the menu to the left.
  6. Uncheck the "Enable Auto Channel Scan" check box.
  7. Select the desired channel from the "Wireless Channel" drop down menu.
  8. Select Save Settings.



Change Wireless Mode



  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter "admin" for the user name and leave the password blank.
  4. Select "Setup" from the menu at the top.
  5. Select "Wireless Settings" from the menu to the left.
  6. Select "802.11g Only" from the "802.11 Mode" drop down menu.
  7. Select Save Settings.



Change Wireless Band (Width)



  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter "admin" for the user name and leave the password blank.
  4. Select "Setup" from the menu at the top.
  5. Select "Wireless Settings" from the menu to the left.
  6. Select "20MHz" from the "Channel Width" drop down menu.
  7. Select Save Settings.



UPnP



  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter "admin" for the user name and leave the password blank.
  4. Select "Advanced" from the menu at the top.
  5. Select "Advanced Network" from the menu at the left.
  6. Either check or uncheck the "Enable UPnP" check box, based on current configuration.
  7. Select Save Settings.



DHCP Reservation



  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter "admin" for the user name and leave the password blank.
  4. Select "Setup" from the menu at the top.
  5. Select "Network Settings" from the menu at the left.
  6. Locate the "Add/Edit DHCP Reservation" section.
  7. Check the "Enable" check box.
  8. Enter "Xbox" into the "Computer Name" field.
  9. Enter the IP address of the Xbox into the "IP Address" field.
  10. Enter the MAC Address of the Xbox into the "MAC Address" field.
  11. Select Save.
  12. Select Save Settings.



DMZ



  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter "admin" for the user name and leave the password blank.
  4. Select "Advanced" from the menu at the top.
  5. Select "Firewall Settings" from the menu at the left.
  6. Check the "Enable DMZ" check box.
  7. Enter the IP address of the Xbox in the "DMZ IP Address" field.
  8. Select Save Settings.



Disable DMZ



  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter "admin" for the user name and leave the password blank.
  4. Select "Advanced" from the menu at the top.
  5. Select "Firewall Settings" from the menu at the left.
  6. Uncheck the "Enable DMZ" check box.
  7. Select Save Settings.



Port Forwarding



  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter "admin" for the user name and leave the password blank.
  4. Select "Advanced" from the menu at the top.
  5. Select "Port Forwarding" from the menu at the left.
  6. Locate the first available rule.
  7. Check the check box to the left of the "Name" and "IP Address" fields.
  8. Enter "Xbox" in the "Name" field.
  9. Enter the IP address of the Xbox in the "IP Address" field.
  10. Enter "3074" into both the "TCP" and "UDP" fields.
  11. Select Save Settings.



Disable Port Forwarding



  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter "admin" for the user name and leave the password blank.
  4. Select "Advanced" from the menu at the top.
  5. Select "Port Forwarding" from the menu at the left.
  6. Locate the desired rule.
  7. Uncheck the check box to the left of the "Name" and "IP Address" fields.
  8. Select Save Settings.



MAC Filtering



  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter "admin" for the user name and leave the password blank.
  4. Select "Advanced" from the menu at the top.
  5. Select "Network Filter" from the menu at the left.
  6. Select "Turn MAC Filtering OFF" from the "Configure MAC FIltering below" drop down menu.
  7. Select Save Settings.



Entering PPPoE



  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter "admin" for the user name and leave the password blank.
  4. Select "Setup" from the menu at the top.
  5. Select "Internet" from the menu at the left.
  6. Select "Manual Internet Connection Setup".
  7. Select "PPPoE (Username/Password)" from the "My Internet Connection is" drop down menu.
  8. In the "User Name" and Password" fields enter the PPPoE user name and password that are provided by the internet service provider.
  9. Select Save Settings.



Firewall



  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter "admin" for the user name and leave the password blank.
  4. Select "Advanced" from the menu at the top.
  5. Select "Firewall Settings" from the menu at the left.
  6. Uncheck the "Enable SPI" check box.
  7. Select Save Settings.



How To Find Firmware Version



  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  3. When prompted, enter "admin" for the user name and leave the password blank.
  4. Select "Tools" from the menu at the top.
  5. Select "Firmware" from the menu at the left.
  6. The firmware version will be labeled as "Current Firmware Version".



Firmware Update



  1. Connect the computer to one of the LAN ports on the router via an Ethernet cable.
  2. Open a web browser.
  3. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  4. When prompted, enter "admin" for the user name and leave the password blank.
  5. Select "Tools" from the menu at the top.
  6. Select "Firmware" from the menu at the left.
  7. Select "Browse..." and locate the
  8. Locate and select the downloaded firmware.
  9. Select Upload and allow the the install to complete without interruption.
  10. **Note: If the firmware is available online, it will be downloaded from here.



Restore Factory Defaults



Through Firmware



  1. Connect the computer to one of the LAN ports on the router via an Ethernet cable.
  2. Open a web browser.
  3. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
  4. When prompted, enter "admin" for the user name and leave the password blank.
  5. Select "Tools" from the menu at the top.
  6. Select "System" from the menu at the left.
  7. Select "Restore Factory Defaults".



Through Hardware 



  1. Connect the computer to one of the LAN ports on the router via an Ethernet cable.
  2. Locate the "Reset" button on the device.
  3. Using a toothpick/pen/paper clip, press and hold the button for 10 seconds.



Multiple Console Support

We have confirmed that this network device is unable to support more than one console with an Open NAT.
