How to Find SSID(Network Name)

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.100.1 or 192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser. 
  3. When prompted, enter nothing for the user name and "admin" for the password.
  4. From the menu at the top select Wireless.
  5. From the left menu select Basic.
  6. The SSID is located on this page labeled Network Name (SSID).

 

How To Find Wireless Passphrase (WPA/WEP)

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.100.1 or 192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser. 
  3. When prompted, enter nothing for the user name and "admin" for the password.
  4. From the menu at the top select Wireless.
  5. From the left menu select Security.
  6. The wireless passphrase will be listed on this page.

 

Changing Wireless Security Type/ Disabling Wireless Security

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.100.1 or 192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser. 
  3. When prompted, enter nothing for the user name and "admin" for the password.
  4. From the menu at the top select Wireless.
  5. From the left menu select Security.
  6. Enable the desired security type. (To turn off security, Disable all security types)
  7. Select Apply.

 

MAC Filtering

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.100.1 or 192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser. 
  3. When prompted, enter nothing for the user name and "admin" for the password.
  4. From the menu at the top select Advanced.
  5. From the menu on the left select MAC Filtering.
  6. Remove the Xbox’s MAC Address from the table.
  7. Select Apply.

 

Change Wireless Channel

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.100.1 or 192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser. 
  3. When prompted, enter nothing for the user name and "admin" for the password.
  4. From the menu at the top select Wireless.
  5. From the left menu select Basic.
  6. In the new channel drop down select your desired channel (1,3,9,11).

 

Change Wireless Mode

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.100.1 or 192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser. 
  3. When prompted, enter nothing for the user name and "admin" for the password.
  4. From the menu at the top select Wireless.
  5. From the left menu select Advanced.
  6. Change the 54g mode with the drop-down box.
  7. Select apply.

UPnP

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.100.1 or 192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser. 
  3. When prompted, enter nothing for the user name and "admin" for the password.
  4. From the menu at the top select Advanced.
  5. From the menu on the left select Options.
  6. UPnP enable is available on the following page.
  7. Toggle UPnP.
  8. Select Apply.

 

DMZ

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.100.1 or 192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser. 
  3. When prompted, enter nothing for the user name and "admin" for the password.
  4. Select Advanced from the top menu.
  5. From the left menu select DMZ host.
  6. Enter the IP address of the Xbox.
  7. Hit apply.

 

Disable DMZ

  1. Plug the computer into a LAN port via an ethernet cable.
  2. Open a web browser.
  3. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.100.1 or 192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser. 
  4. When prompted, enter nothing for the user name and "admin" for the password.
  5. Select Advanced from the top menu.
  6. From the left menu select DMZ host.
  7. Enter a “0” into the box.
  8. Hit apply.

 

Port Forwarding

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.100.1 or 192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser. 
  3. When prompted, enter nothing for the user name and "admin" for the password.
  4. Select advanced from the top menu.
  5. Select Forwarding from the left.
  6. In the following Screen enter the Xbox’s IP Address for Local IP Adr.
  7. Set both the Start Port and End Port to “3074”.
  8. Set the Protocol to Both.
  9. Check the Enable Box 
  10. Select Apply.

 

Disable Port Forwarding

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.100.1 or 192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser. 
  3. When prompted, enter nothing for the user name and "admin" for the password.
  4. Select advanced from the top menu.
  5. Select Forwarding from the left.
  6. Uncheck the Enable box of the port you want to remove.
  7. Select Apply.

 

Firewall

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.100.1 or 192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser. 
  3. When prompted, enter nothing for the user name and "admin" for the password.
  4. Select Firewall from the top menu.
  5. Select Web Filter from the left menu.
  6. Disable IP floor detection and firewall protection.
  7. Click Apply.

 

How to Find Firmware Version

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.100.1 or 192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser. 
  3. When prompted, enter nothing for the user name and "admin" for the password.
  4. From the menu at the top select Status.
  5. From the menu on the left select Software.
  6. Firmware will be on this page labeled Software Version.

Restore Factory Defaults 

Through Hardware

  1. Plug the computer into a LAN port via an ethernet cable.
  2. Using a toothpick or tip of ballpoint pen press and hold the reset button located on the bottom of the device for 15 seconds or until all the ethernet link lights flash in unison.
