How To Find Wireless Passphrase (WPA/WEP)

You cannot see the wireless passphrase from the device but you can create a new one.

 

Changing Wireless Security Type/ Disabling Wireless Security

  1. Open the AirPort Admin Utility. (It is installed in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder on a Macintosh computer, and in Start > All Programs > AirPort on computers using Windows.)
  2. Select your base station and then choose manual setup from the menu.
  3. Click Airport in the toolbar, then click base station.
  4. Click Wireless
  5. You can enter a new password on that page under encryption.

Change Wireless Channel

  1. Open the AirPort Admin Utility. (It is installed in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder on a Macintosh computer, and in Start > All Programs > AirPort on computers using Windows.)
  2. Select your base station and then choose manual setup from the menu.
  3. Click Airport in the toolbar, then click base station.
  4. Click Wireless
  5. Select Manual in the Radio Channel Selection.
  6. Using the drop down menu next to Channel select your desired channel (1,3,9,11)
  7. Select update.

 

Change Wireless Mode

  1. Open the AirPort Admin Utility. (It is installed in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder on a Macintosh computer, and in Start > All Programs > AirPort on computers using Windows.)
  2. Select your base station and then choose manual setup from the menu.
  3. Click Airport in the toolbar, then click base station.
  4. Click Wireless
  5. Using the drop down menu next to Radio mode select 802.11g only
  6. Select update

Change Wireless Band (Width)



The ability to change the wireless band (width) is not available on this device. It may switch between 20MHz and 40MHz based on surrounding wireless signals.

 

DHCP Reservation

  1. Open the AirPort Admin Utility. (It is installed in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder on a Macintosh computer, and in Start > All Programs > AirPort on computers using Windows.)
  2. With the Utility open select your device from the menu on the left.
  3. Select Internet from the menu at the top.
  4. Select DHCP from the sub menu.
  5. Click the plus button bellow DHCP Reservations table.

 

UPnP

  1. Open the AirPort Admin Utility. (It is installed in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder on a Macintosh computer, and in Start > All Programs > AirPort on computers using Windows.)
  2. With the Utility open select your device from the menu on the left.
  3. Select Internet from the menu at the top.
  4. Select NAT from the sub menu.
  5. Check the Enable NAT Port Mapping Protocol check box.

 

DMZ

  1. Open the AirPort Admin Utility. (It is installed in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder on a Macintosh computer, and in Start > All Programs > AirPort on computers using Windows.)
  2. With the Utility open select your device from the menu on the left.
  3. Select Internet from the menu at the top.
  4. Select NAT from the sub menu.
  5. Check the enable default host at: check box.
  6. Enter the IP Address of the console.

Port Forwarding

  1. Open the AirPort Admin Utility. (It is installed in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder on a Macintosh computer, and in Start > All Programs > AirPort on computers using Windows.)
  2. Select your wireless device.
  3. Choose Base Station.
  4. Manual Setup, or double-click the device icon to open its configuration in a separate window.
  5. Enter the password if necessary.
  6. Click the Advanced button, and then click Port Mapping.
  7. Click the Add (+) button and choose a service, such as Personal File Sharing, from the
  8. Service pop-up menu.
  9. In the four port fields (Public UDP) enter port number 3074.
  10. In the Private IP Address field enter the IP Address of the console.

It is not possible to update the firmware on this device 

 

Restore Factory Defaults

Through Hardware

  1. Plug the computer into a LAN port via an ethernet cable.
  2. Locate the Reset button.
  3. Using the tip of a ballpoint pen or toothpick press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds.
  4. Release the reset button.
  5. Wait for the device to restart.

Multiple Console Support

We have confirmed that this network device is unable to support more than one console with an Open NAT. 

 

Known issues

On the Xbox One, if you are having issues getting into multiplayer gaming with this router, it may be blocking Teredo tunnels. This is a setting that is left unchecked by default on this router.

To allow Teredo tunnels:

  1. Open the AirPort Admin Utility. (It is installed in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder on a Macintosh computer, and in Start > All Programs > AirPort on computers using Windows.)
  2. With the Utility open select your device from the menu on the left.
  3. Select Advanced from the menu at the top.
  4. Select the tab labeled IPv6 Firewall.
  5. Check the option to Allow Teredo tunnels.
  6. Select Update.
