  This walkthrough is based on the OSX 10.8 (Mountain Lion) version of the utility.

Port Forwarding

 

  1. Open the AirPort Admin Utility. (It is installed in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder on a Macintosh computer, and in Start > All Programs > AirPort on computers using Windows.)
  2. Click on your base station.
  3. Enter the admin password you created when the device was initially setup.
  4. Click the edit button on the resulting pop up.
  5. Select Network from the menu at the top.
  6. Click the + button at the bottom of the Port settings table.
  7. Enter Xbox Live for the Description.
  8. Enter 3074 for Public UDP Ports, Public TCP Ports, Private UDP Ports and Private TCP Ports.

 

Disable Port Forwarding

  1. Open the AirPort Admin Utility. (It is installed in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder on a Macintosh computer, and in Start > All Programs > AirPort on computers using Windows.)
  2. Click on your base station.
  3. Enter the admin password you created when the device was initially setup.
  4. Click the edit button on the resulting pop up.
  5. Select Network from the menu at the top.
  6. Select the Xbox Live entry and click the – button.
  7. Click the Update button.
