UPnP

  1. Open web browser.
  2. Login to router by entering http://10.0.0.2 into the address bar.
  3. If prompted for a username and password use admin/zoomadsl.
  4. Select Advanced Setup on the top.
  5. Select UPnP.
  6. Check or uncheck “Enable UPnP IGD function”.
  7. Select Save Changes.
  8. Click “Write Settings to Flash”.

 

 

DMZ

  1. Open web browser.
  2. Login to router by entering http://10.0.0.2 into the address bar.
  3. If prompted for a username and password use admin/zoomadsl.
  4. Select Advanced Setup on the top.
  5. Click on the NAT button.
  6. Change the drop-down box from NAT Global Info to NAT Rule Entry.
  7. Click the Add button.
  8. In Rule Flavor Select RDR.
  9. For Rule ID enter Xbox.
  10. For If Name select All.
  11. For Protocol select ANY.
  12. In both Local Address From and To enter the IP Address of the Xbox.
  13. In both Global Address From and To put in 0.0.0.0
  14. Type in 0 for Destination Port From. 
  15. Type in 65535 for Destination Port To.
  16. For Local Port enter 0.
  17. Click on the Save Changes button.
  18. Click on the Write Settings to Flash button.

 

 

Disable DMZ

  1. Open web browser.
  2. Login to router by entering http://10.0.0.2 into the address bar.
  3. If prompted for a username and password use admin/zoomadsl.
  4. Select Advanced Setup on the top.
  5. Click on the NAT button.
  6. Change the drop-down box from NAT Global Info to NAT Rule Entry.
  7. Click the Trash can icon next to the rule regarding the Xbox.

 

 

Port Forwarding

  1. Open web browser.
  2. Login to router by entering http://10.0.0.2 into the address bar.
  3. If prompted for a username and password use admin/zoomadsl.
  4. Select Advanced Setup on the top.
  5. Click on the NAT button.
  6. Change the drop-down box from NAT Global Info to NAT Rule Entry.
  7. Click the Add button.
  8. In Rule Flavor Select RDR.
  9. For Rule ID enter Xbox.
  10. For If Name select All.
  11. For Protocol select ANY.
  12. In both Local Address From and To enter the IP Address of the Xbox.
  13. In both Global Address From and To put in 0.0.0.0
  14. Type in 3074 for Destination Port From. 
  15. Type in 3074 for Destination Port To.
  16. For Local Port enter 0.
  17. Click on the Save Changes button.
  18. Click on the Write Settings to Flash button.

 

Disable Port Forwarding

  1. Open web browser.
  2. Login to router by entering http://10.0.0.2 into the address bar.
  3. If prompted for a username and password use admin/zoomadsl.
  4. Select Advanced Setup on the top.
  5. Click on the NAT button.
  6. Change the drop-down box from NAT Global Info to NAT Rule Entry.
  7. Click the Trash can icon next to the rule regarding the Xbox.

How to Find Firmware Version

  1. Open web browser.
  2. Login to router by entering http://10.0.0.2 into the address bar.
  3. If prompted for a username and password use admin/zoomadsl.
  4. Select System Status.
  5. The Firmware Version is listed to the right of S/W Version.

Restore Factory Defaults

 

Through firmware

  1. Plug the computer into the LAN port of the router.
  2. Open web browser.
  3. Login to router by entering http://10.0.0.2 into the address bar.
  4. If prompted for a username and password use admin/zoomadsl.
  5. Select Advanced Setup on the top.
  6. Select Reboot from the sub-menu under Administration.
  7. From the Reboot Mode drop down select “Reboot From Defaults Configuration”.
  8. Click Reboot.
  9. Wait for lights to turn off then return to normal.

 

Through Hardware

  1. Plug the computer into the LAN port of the router.
  2. Locate the Reset button on the device.
  3. Hold the Power button lights start to flash.
  4. Wait for lights to turn off then return to normal.

 

 

Bridging Guide

  1. Plug the computer into the LAN port of the router.
  2. Open web browser.
  3. Login to router by entering http://10.0.0.2 into the address bar.
  4. If prompted for a username and password use admin/zoomadsl.
  5. The Basic Setup page appears.  Make the following changes:
  6. VPI: 0  (or set to your provider's specific setting)
  7. VCI: 35  (or set to your provider's specific setting)
  8. Encapsulation: 1483 Bridge IP LLC
  9. Bridge: Enabled
  10. Click Save Changes, Write Settings to Flash and Reboot, and then Confirm.
  11. After the modem is rebooted, click the Advanced Setup icon.
  12. Click LAN Settings. The LAN Configuration page appears.
  13. Change the DHCP Server to Disabled.
  14. Click Save Changes, Write Settings to Flash and Reboot, and then Confirm.

 

 

Multiple Console Support

We have confirmed that this network device is unable to support more than one console with an Open NAT.
