  • Gateway - 192.168.1.254
  • Username - admin
  • Password – (Device access code from sticker)

How to Find Wireless Passphrase (WPA/ WEP)

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Enter http://192.168.1.254 in the address bar. (Or click the link) Enter the username and password if the gateway asks (admin/password on sticker).
  3. Click Expert Mode on the left then click Yes to continue.
  4. Select Configure across the top.
  5. Select LAN from the left.
  6. Under Other LAN Options select “Wireless”.
  7. Passphrase is located on this page. If set up manually will be in the box labeled “WEP key passphrase”. If set up automatically it will be in the box labeled “Encryption Key #1”.

 

Changing Wireless Security Type/ Disabling Wireless Security

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Enter http://192.168.1.254 in the address bar. (Or click the link) Enter the username and password if the gateway asks (admin/password on sticker).
  3. Click Expert Mode on the left then click Yes to continue.
  4. Select Configure across the top.
  5. Select LAN from the left.
  6. Under Other LAN Options select “Wireless”.
  7. There is no option to change modes, however to turn off the security select Off - No Privacy in the drop down labeled Enable WEP Encryption.
