 How to Find SSID (Network Name)

  1. Login to the router by entering the default gateway IP address.
  2. The router will then prompt you to enter the user name and password.the default user name and password are: "admin", "admin".
  3. From the menu on the left select LAN
  4. From the sub-menu select Wireless
  5. Your network name will be listed as ESSID.

How To Find Wireless Passphrase (WPA/WEP)

  1. Login to the router by entering the default gateway IP address.
  2. The router will then prompt you to enter the user name and password.the default user name and password are: "admin", "admin".
  3. From the menu on the left select LAN
  4. From the sub-menu select Wireless Security
  5. Your passphrase will be listed as WPA Shared Key or Key 0.

 

Changing Wireless Security Type/ Disabling Wireless Security

  1. Login to the router by entering the default gateway IP address.
  2. The router will then prompt you to enter the user name and password.the default user name and password are: "admin", "admin".
  3. From the menu on the left select LAN
  4. From the sub-menu select Wireless Security
  5. If WEP is selected, select the WEP Key Length (either 64-bit or 128-bit).
  6. If WPA or WPA2 was selected the password can be between 8-63 characters, is case sensitive and can use any character on your keyboard.
  7. If WEP security is selected the password will need to be 10 characters in length (if 64-bit) or 26 characters in length (if 128-bit) and can only use 0-9 and A-F.
  8. Enter the Pre-Shared key or WEP Key.
  9. Once the passphrase has been entered click Save Settings.

MAC Filtering

  1. Login to the router by entering the default gateway IP address.
  2. The router will then prompt you to enter the user name and password.the default user name and password are: "admin", "admin".
  3. From the menu on the left select LAN.
  4. From the sub menu on the left select Wireless Client Filter.
  5. In the filter action line select Disable.
  6. Select Apply.

 

Change Wireless Channel

  1. Login to the router by entering the default gateway IP address.
  2. The router will then prompt you to enter the user name and password.the default user name and password are: "admin", "admin".
  3. From the menu on the left select LAN.
  4. From the sub-menu select Wireless
  5. Using the Channel ID select the desired channel. (Channels 1, 3,9,11)
  6. Select apply.
     

Change Wireless Mode

  1.  Login to the router by entering the default gateway IP address.
  2. The router will then prompt you to enter the user name and password.the default user name and password are: "admin", "admin".
  3. From the menu on the left select LAN.
  4. From the sub-menu select Wireless.
  5. Using the mode drop down select 802.11g only.
  6. Select apply.

 

DHCP Reservation

UPnP  

  1. Login to the router by entering the default gateway IP address.
  2. The router will then prompt you to enter the user name and password.the default user name and password are: "admin", "admin".
  3. From the menu on the left select Device Management.
  4. On the line marked UPnP toggle UPnP.

 

 

DMZ

  1. Login to the router by entering the default gateway IP address.
  2. The router will then prompt you to enter the user name and password.the default user name and password are: "admin", "admin".
  3. From the menu on the left select Configuration.
  4. From the sub-menu select Virtual Server.
  5. Select Edit DMZ near the center of the page.
  6. Select enabled and enter the IP address of the xbox in the Internal IP Address line.
  7. Select Apply. 

 

Disable DMZ

  1. Login to the router by entering the default gateway IP address.
  2. The router will then prompt you to enter the user name and password.the default user name and password are: "admin", "admin".
  3. From the menu on the left select Configuration.
  4. From the sub-menu select Virtual Server.
  5. Select Edit DMZ near the center of the page.
  6. Select disabled.
  7. Select Apply.

 

 

Port Forwarding

  1. Login to the router by entering the default gateway IP address.
  2. The router will then prompt you to enter the user name and password.the default user name and password are: "admin", "admin".
  3. From the menu on the left select Configuration.
  4. From the sub-menu select Virtual Server.
  5. On the next screen, type in xbox for the application name. Set the Protocol to both TCP and UDP.  Set both the External port and Redirect port to "3074". Then enter the IP address that the Xbox console you wish to Port Forward has in the Internal IP Address box. 
  6. Select Apply.

 

 

Disable Port Forwarding

  1. Login to the router by entering the default gateway IP address.
  2. The router will then prompt you to enter the user name and password.the default user name and password are: "admin", "admin".
  3. From the menu on the left select Configuration.
  4. From the sub-menu select Virtual Server.
  5. Select Delete from the menu on the right.

 

 

Firewall

  1. Login to the router by entering the default gateway IP address.
  2. The router will then prompt you to enter the user name and password.the default user name and password are: "admin", "admin".
  3. From the menu on the left select Configuration.
  1. From the sub-menu select Firewall.
  2. Under General Settings select disable.
  3. Select Apply.

 

How to Find Firmware Version

  1. Login to the router by entering the default gateway IP address.
  2. The router will then prompt you to enter the user name and password.the default user name and password are: "admin", "admin".
  3. From the menu on the left select Status.
  4. The Firmware Version will be listed as Software Version.

 

 

Firmware Update

*Due to the age of this device firmware is no longer hosted online so this feature is unusable.*

 

Restore Factory Defaults

Through Hardware

  1. Plug the computer into a LAN port via an ethernet cable.
  2. Using a toothpick or tip of a ballpoint pen press and hold the reset button located on the bottom of the device for 15 seconds or until all the ethernet lights flash in unison.

 

Entering PPPoE

  1. Login to the router by entering the default gateway IP address.
  2. The router will then prompt you to enter the user name and password.the default user name and password are: "admin", "admin".
  3. From the menu on the left select Quick Start.
  4. As you go through the Quick Start setup you will be prompted to enter your PPPOE info to setup your internet connection.
  5. Complete the Quick Start setup to finish the process.

 

 

Known Issues

There are no known issues with this device.

 

Multiple Console Support

We have confirmed that this network device is unable to support more than one console with an Open NAT.
