Your first Xbox game?

Do you ever remember your first Xbox experience - for most it would probably be on another person's console, before you made the decision to get your own? What made you join Xbox Live and get an Xbox in the first place? Is the first game you played on the Xbox your favourite? When did you start playing Xbox, and was it on the original or the 360?

The first game I played was Far Cry 1.  I had it on my PC and played it every day for 6 months.  The 360 version wasn't exactly like it, so I dumped it.  But I got my 360 because I got tired of upgrading my PC.  I joined and got out of Gold after a month, back in 2006.  I rejoined in 2008 because I met "fotyfoe" and we wanted to play TDU1.  But I never had the original Xbox.

I bought my first XBOX with Halo / Amped bundle.

I dont think I have even taken the wrapping off Amped yet. Halo got all my attention.

You missed out on a great game by not trying out Amped.

I never played the original Xbox. I received my first 360 as a birthday present and joined Live in 2008. My first game was Bioshock.

My first xbox game was Halo 2 on the original xbox. Before that I was playing on playstation.

I do remember my first Xbox experience quite vividly.  I definitely liked hearing the start up sound and seeing the Blades for the first time.

What made me join Xbox LIVE and get an Xbox 360?  It was Ninja Gaiden II.  In August 2008 I had the pleasure of playing through Ninja Gaiden Σ on PS3.  I just loved it.  At the time Ninja Gaiden II was exclusive to Xbox 360 so in September 2008 I made the jump.

I don't think I can ever point out a single favorite game, but it is safe to say that Ninja Gaiden II is one of my all time favorites.

Fusion Frenzy (it came free with the console)

I got my Xbox in May 2003, on my birthday. The first games we got for it were Splinter Cell and the Sega GT/JSRF combo pack. We also rented Halo, MoH Frontline, and Unreal Championship for my birthday party. I wound up getting Halo and Unreal Championship not long after.

I joined Xbox Live right after Christmas 03, when we got a 2 moth trial in Project Gotham Racing 2. It was my older brother who wanted to try Live out first. Even though I got my Xbox before my friends did, they signed up for Live before me, so I wanted to get on there and play with them.

We cancelled the first account when the two month trial was up. I had gotten Rainbow Six 3 around that time, so we created my current account off of that one in October, when I got Black Arrow. We had this idea to use 2 moth free cards to get free Live as long as possible.

However, we forgot to cancel this CND AAA Beef account after the trial was up. I assumed that it automatically cancelled. After , I used one of my trials to create a new account called CURSED FROGURT in December. But them my mom realized that the CND AAA Beef account had been automatically renewed when she paid her Visa. So we cancelled CURSED FROGURT, and I've been playing as CND ever since. The timely price drop around that time is one of the reasons why we kept Live. Which was good, since I was having a blast in Halo 2.

My favourite Xbox game was probably RS3. I sunk so many hours into that game with my friends. I liked it a bit better than Halo 2.

I was wandering through Woolworths one day and found myself passing through their entertainment section. They had a special offer on a 360 Elite and a copy of Mass Effect and so I snapped it up.

My first game was Halo. It was part of the Halo bundle.
