Xbox One TV App not working

Time warner cable Cisco Explorer 8642HDC box. Click on app, get black screen, eventually we've lost signal. On the cable box I get "2d"displayed and it goes back and forth from 1080 to 480. The xbox powers the cable box on and off just fine and when I reset the cable box the cable boxes boot screen was displayed. Any help?

Power cycling the Xbox One has been working for a lot of people. Hold the power button on the console for 10 second until it powers off, unplug it and wait 1 minute. Plug console back in and power back up and hopefully the problem should be fixed. Merry Christmas!

I also have a Time Warner cable Cisco Explorer 8642HDC box and I'm getting the exact same results:  "2d" displayed, goes back and forth from 1080 to 480.  This solution didn't help.  Any other solutions?
