I'm a comcast customer with a Motorola DCH3416 DVR, and I'm having the same freezing and disconnected issues with Live TV on my Xbox One as so many others. I have tried new HDMI cables and recycling the DVR and xbox repeatedly. Note that these issues do not occur at all when i connect directly from my cable box (DVR) to the TV. I am a lifelong sony and playstation customer who was lured into your product by the promises of a full multimedia product. These promises, which you (Microsoft) made, now seem to be false. I am kicking myself for going with your product instead of the Sony PS4 but I am now asking you to help me fix these issues so i can try to begin feeling like I wasn't ripped off. Some people may be very patient with you but i am not, at all, nor should I be since you took my money (not just part of it with a promise to pay the rest later).
