Xbox One Live TV connection issue

My X1 is able to send instructions to both my TV and my cable box (Comcast). However when I open the TV App after starting my Xbox the video will show on the screen for about two seconds before disappearing to a black screen. The One-guide is able to pick up signal from the cable box including being a ble to display a TV guide and change channels. But there's still no video input just a black screen. I made sure all cables were connected, made sure I have a well functioning HDMI, as well as having power cycled the Xbox twice. Any idea what my problem is???

Try power cycling again but unplug the Xbox One for 1 muniute then plug back in and power back up. It's very important for you to unplug after a power cycle in order for it to take affect.
