Xbox One: DVR not recording

This has been happening since I got my One last year, but I can not get the DVR to record at all, it just comes up saying "sorry, we could not record that. (0x82323012)". I've looked for solutions to solve this, & found absolutely nothing that works, and its annoying since I want to record clips & share them with friends. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

you have tried this correct?

To resolve this problem, make sure that you have enabled Game DVR uploads. Here’s how:

From Xbox Home, say, “Xbox, go to settings,” or press the Menu button and then select Settings.

Under Console, select Preferences.

Under System & App, select Allow broadcasts and Game DVR uploads.

Also are you using an Adult account on the console or child or custom if custom please try using adult

You see the following error code and message when trying to use the Game DVR feature on Xbox One:

0x82323012

Sorry We Couldn't Record That

Note You may receive this error because some games disable the recording of gameplay by default. You won’t be able to make clips of these titles.
