Xbox Music Pass and albums not being free

So... I'm trying to move over from Spotify to use Xbox Music on full time, but it's hard when it won't work as you wish it does...

The problem I have now with Xbox Music Pass, a way to get unlimited Music from the Xbox Music store, doesn't seems to work for Everything.

One example is the album "Perks of being a wallflower", the songs are only 30s long (demos) or buy with credit card. If I go into the individual songs I can listen to the full version.

Why can't I do this with the mixed album? It is quite annoying...

Hi Eyadish! What device are you trying to play music on? Have you linked that device to your Xbox Music Pass? You can refer to the following article for some more support: Xbox Music Pass for computers and devices

This is both for my Windows 8 PC and Nokia Lumia 920 with Windows Phone 8. Both devices are linked to my Xbox Music pass.

As I said, I can listen to the songs without problem when I'm listning to it all individualy or just from a album made from that artist. But as soon as I want to listen to that song from an album that has mixed artist, it doesn't work. (Perks of being a wallflower).

Alrighty. So it does look like that album is unavailable. This is most likely due to licensing restrictions, especially since this is a soundtrack. Sorry about the inconvenience!

I'm then feeling tricked by the commericals

"Search for any artist, song, or full album and instantly play whatever you want."

Shouldn't all content in the xbox library be accessable for Xbox Music Pass owners? Or am I missing a important fact in the ToA?

And how can it be a licensing restriction when I still can play those songs by searching for them individually? Shouldn't your service be able to be "smart" even if it's a soundtrack?

If such a simple future doesn't work, I belive that Xbox Music Pass is nothing for me, I've been standing up with the terrible UI in both the WP8 and W8 applications. Searching and finding songs is terrible, but I can't take one more negative aspect.

Music rights are dependent on the company that owns the licensing rights, so some albums and songs have different rights than others. Now when you say you can play the song when you search for it individually, is it off the same album?
